I like that immense uncontrollable national pride that swells up inside me as the National Anthem plays before a football match (or otherwise), only to be released by an anxious and immature battle cry by almost everyone towards the end: “C’MON IRELAND!!!” …

I recently took some promotional shots for Tit for Tat Theatre and they’re trip to the Edinburgh Fringe this August with Three Cities
The idea was to explore the idea of development and storytelling. The show, like many other original scripts where the author is involved, has faced some changes for what will be its second run on stage; it has been given a facelift.
This then, was an updated piece, a revisited venture. The concept was to bring the graphic poster I had previously designed back into the photographic realm; a further facelift.
Images of the 3 girls’ cities were projected onto a wall and a series of photos taken of the girls standing in front and moving individually and collectively as their characters. The 3 images of each character are overlaid to start to construct a narrative, just like those that the girls tell.
